A Dream

I dreamt I had wings!
To soar up in the sky,
Live my life like kings;
Sunshine and never die!!

I smelt the free air in,
And surfed the blue waves by,
Stood up to the highest peaks!
‘I believe I can Fly!!’

It wasn’t easy though;
The winds were never kind!
But life is too short a thing,
To just sun and shine and die!!

Wish now you had Wings,
To soar up in the sky!
I wish you had Wings,
To soar up in the sky!!
